Kuiuc Mayan Temple by Steve Radzi

The fascinating Maya civilization, born of the lowland jungles and starry heavens of Mesoamerica, has been of interest to many a scholar, archaeologist, epigrapher and traveler. This amazing and mysterious culture has also been a creative inspiration to artists, photographers and writers.

In the footsteps of John Herbert Caddy and Frederick Catherwood, Steve Radzi, armed with pen and ink, has touched this sacred earth.

The illustrations in this electronic gallery have been faithfully and beautifully sketched on location at archaeological sites throughout the Maya region in Chiapas, Yucatan, Quintana Roo, in Mexico as well as Maya Temples in Guatemala and Belize.

Please enjoy a unique perspective of the Maya World and visit this site often as more illustrations of Maya sites are added and the gallery continues to expand.
