It would not have been possible to visit many of the sites throughout Yucatan and beyond without the aid of the maps and information in Joyce Kelly’s archaeological guidebooks. Over time, there have been some changes, mostly for the better, since the publication of Joyce’s books. Rocky paths have become paved roads and while some sites have fallen into disrepair, others have yielded a wealth of new information through careful excavation and restoration. Notwithstanding, I have found Joyce Kelly’s comments invaluable.

Additional Guide Books available by Joyce Kelly:

"An Archaeological Guide to Central & Southern Mexico"
"An Archaeological Guide to Northern Central America – Belize, Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador"

As time permits we eventually would like to add important internet links to the Maya World as well as basic information on places to stay when visiting some of the sites. In the near future additional illustrations will be added to this website.
